Re: One mistake reminded repeatedly
Dear tatalemon, I now have been able to reproduce your error when running your input files with MICRESS_6.402 under Linux (before I was trying under WINDOWS). This leads me to the conclusion that what we see (floating divide by zero) is probably an old bug of the TQ-library (one of those we constant...

Dear lv,
What means "not a normal reaction"? According to the results you post, many small nuclei are formed which did not yet reach bigger size due to slow transformation rate.

Re: Work of solidification
Hi Lv Shaojie, The reason why you get unexpected positions is the following: (30,0) is just outside the domain, so it is skipped. Instead you get nucleation at (0,0) according to your nucleation type at the defined region... The primary dendrite spacing you observe is defined by these initial positi...

Re: Cementite instability during fast heating
Dear Vitoria, Why are you sure that the cementite lamellae should not dissolve? Does it happen below the normal thermal dissolution? I have seen in your input file that you use infinite diffusion for C in bcc, thus the distance of the cementite from the austenite front does not play any role. I gues...

Urgent: Important Bug Fix
Dear all, Unfortunately, we have found a bug in the calculation of the thermal part of the driving force in case of TC-coupling. The bug has been corrected, and the fixed executable can be found in the download directory: https://download.micress.rwth-aachen.de/MICRESS/7.0/ The effects of this bug a...

Re: Phase Boundary along with plot concentration
Dear Seder, Welcome to the MICRESS Forum! Unfortunately, there is no direct function for plotting phase boundaries over composition outputs(. However, there may be indirect ways, depending on your case: - you could use "Content/Operations" and mark all cells with value -1 of the .phas output in your...
