Re: Grain Input in 3D simulatio
Hi Bernd, Thank you for the reply. After converting the ASCII point to cell data, the input grain structure file is readable using MICRESS 6.003 but the same file can not be read using MICRESS 6.100. The microstructure is in 3D and I would like to take the advantage of MICRESS 6.100's parallel optio...

Re: Grain Input in 3D simulatio
Hi Bernd, I have been trying to start a new simulation using 3D microstructure from another one. Following your suggestion, I converted the *.*korn file using DP micress to both vtk ASCII and binary format and then tried to read this file from a new simulation of micress. Unfortunately, everytime I ...

Re: Bainite modeling
Hi Bernd, Thanks for your reply. I have modified the driving file following your suggestions but still the problem persists. Instead of forming faceted ferrite at from the GB into the grain, I can only observe GB instability. I am uploading the files, please have a look at them. Thanks in advance, R...

Bainite modeling
Hi, I have been trying to model austenite to bainite transformation using faceted model but facing some issues. Instead of having faceted ferrite (bainte) forming at the GB, I am observing GB instability instead. Please review my driving file (attachment) and let me know a possible solution. Regards...
