Thanks Bernd,
I could not run the simulation with para or nple. In other word, I was not able to make it work. would you please take a look at the file whenever you had the chance.
Many thanks

Re: Diffusionless transformation
Hello Bernd, Thanks a lot for your advices. I tried to use normal mob_corr to get high velocity for δ to γ (phase 2 to phase 1) transformation but it did not work and still the transformation rate is very low. I applied very high undercooling (like what reported in literature) for γ nucleation (maxi...

Diffusionless transformation
Hi, I am simulating peritectic solidification and in that the solid state transformation from delta-ferrite to austenite takes place. This transformation rate is too high (in order of millimeters/second). But in my simulations it's rate is very low. how should I change the "phase interaction data" p...

Re: melt pool formation in middle of dendrite
Thanks Bernd, Your advices were really helpful and I resolved the issue. Just a general question. The mobility between phases (with unit of cm 4 /JS) and Anisotropy of interfacial mobility are materials property or numerical parameter? How you know the values used for them are exact/correct. what is...

Re: melt pool formation in middle of dendrite
Thanks Bernd,
I almost resolved the issue. But have a little bit more problem. Just a quick question. Does have interface thickness any effects on liquid inclusion formation? if yes how does it affect it? it is better to have more grids in interface or less?
Thanks,

Re: melt pool formation in middle of dendrite
Thanks Bernd,
I try to solve the issue using your instructions. At the same time would you please take a look at the input file I attached?
Thanks again.

melt pool formation in middle of dendrite
Hello, I am simulating peritectic solidification in Fe-C alloys. I have a serious problem which is formation of melt pool (I think they are numerical errors and unphysical) in the middle of growing delta-ferrite dendrites. these melt pool changes peritectic transformation rate considerably. I tried ...

Stress evolution during solidification
I am trying to simulate phase transformation and thermal stress evolution during steel solidification. the elasticity and TLE data are correct I think. but the stress level I get is unreasonably high (around 10000). is the stress output unit MPa? if yes, it is totally wrong. I have attached a screen...

Re: Acceleration of aging simulation
Thanks for your reply,
I checked and more than 60% of the time is spent for TQ time. based on this is there any way to accelerate simulation time?
Thanks

Acceleration of aging simulation
Hello, I need to simulate aging of Pb-Sn solder alloy which is aged for 50 days. The simulation time is very long even for 10s (almost 5 days). I tried to accelerate simulations by increasing diffusion coefficient and interface mobility but the outcome microstructure is awful because of instabilitie...
