New publication on extrapolation models in MICRESS

Hi all,
A new paper about different extrapolation models for solute redistribution and driving force, which are implemented in MICRESS, is about to appear:
B. Böttger, J. Eiken, M. Apel, "Multi-Ternary Extrapolation Scheme for Efficient Coupling of Thermodynamic Data to a Multi-Phase-Field Model"
Computational Materials Science
Online publication complete: 26-MAR-2015
DOI information: 10.1016/j.commatsci.2015.03.003
Besides the traditional multi-binary extrapolation scheme, a diagonal and a ternary scheme are derived, compared and discussed. The latter two are very useful and can be activated in the current MICRESS revision using the keyword "interaction" in section "Phase Diagram - input data".
