Dear Micress Team,
When I'm trying to run an example on Linux CentOS, license check failure happens as:
# License check
# =============
# No valid license could be found at the default locations:
# MICRESS directory or location specified by the
# environment variables 'ACMICRES_LICENSE_FILE' or 'MICRESS_LICENSE'
# Please specify a license file
# or a machine where a license server is running (i.e. @<server_name>)
# (Type 'verbose' or press 'return' to enable diagnostics)
@134.75.192.86
@134.75.192.86
Unable to find a valid MICRESS license
Please contact your ACCESS partner
-----------------------------
Meanwhile,
1. Thermo-Calc works fine at the same machine
2. 'printenv' gives ACMICRES_LICENSE_FILE=@134.75.192.86 (correct IP), LSHOST=134.75.192.86 (correct IP)
3. other 2 Windows 7 machines including license server can run simulations.
Can you help me to resolve this problem?
Thanks!
license check failure on Linux client
Re: license check failure on Linux client
Dear JiwonP,
you can enable the output of more diagnostic information by answering the 'license location' question with 'verbose' and give the @license_server next.
The output of the 'MIC_info' script provides also information to solve this problem (WARNING: This might be confidential !)
I recommend to continue with the support@micress.de, directly.
Be a little patient. It's carnival time in Aachen.
Best,
Ralph
P.S.: It's also me who will respond in support. You just have to provide additional information.
