How to change the ruler?

Post by bachelor » Tue Sep 13, 2022 3:37 am

Dear Bernd,
How to change the ruler? I simulate the growth of the precipitated phase, but the simulation results are micron level, and what I need is nanometer level. I have changed the grid size and the particle size, but I can 't output the results because of an error. I want your help, thanks.

I am not quite sure if I understand your problem.

You can raise the resolution of your simulation if you decrease the grid spacing in the geometry section.
The size of your simulation area (might be an RVE) is defined by the number of cells times spacing.

To cope with your output error, please give MICRESS version, error message and if possible post your input files for reproducing the error.
If you are working with MICRESS 7.1, you can also send these files to support@micress.de.

Best,
Ralph
